Once I’d dowloaded ‘Samsung New PC studio’ (free from Samsung’s website) I used this cable to add tracks to a memory card I had put in the phone to listen to on the phone’s Music Player. The Music Player doesn’t recognise the mp3 files if you don’t use the cable with Samsung’s sotware. Luckily I had XP on an old computer as Samsung still haven’t released a version for Windows 7.

Having finally entered the 21st century -at least in telecommunication terms- and obtained a mobile phone device i was a keen as the proverbial mustard ( why is mustard so keen anyway ?) to down load some tunes onto it( once I had twigged that you needed a memory card to do so ……duhhh!) but needed the appropriate lead with which to do so.
So i bought this for my Samsung B2100 did the appropriate fiddling with the settings hooking it up to the computer as a portable storage device and transferred the music files across . Easy peasy . Now i have some brilliant music on my phone and the Young Gods “Jimmy” as my ringtone which gives me considerable pleasure let me tell you. No “Sex On Fire ” for me . No sir. For the price you can buy this connector at it seems ridiculous to buy it anywhere else. If only i could have got the memory card as cheap.
