As I have hundreds of VCDs, I was looking for a blueray player which can play these VCDs instead of having another player for VCDs. This is a great blueray player as it plays Blue-ray, DVD and VCD.
The normal DVDs played by this blueray player has lot more clarity on my Full-HD, 60 inch plasma TV.
I receommend this player.

got this blueray player as we wanted something that was simple to use,just plugged it in and played a dvd straight away,the picture is excellent and the sound too.we do not watch that many films,about one every two weeks but now we have a blue ray player we watch 3 to 4 films per week,we connected to a 42 inch samsung plasma tv,just connect the hdmi cable,find the channel and watch,

THE PLAYER WORKS FINE,
THE PROBLEM I FOUND WAS THAT IT DID NOT RECOGNIZE A NUMBER OF USB STICKS I HAD LYING AROUND MY HOUSE EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE AS REQUIRED FAT32 FORMATTED.
I WAS ABLE TO SHOW MY PICTURES ON THE TV EVENTUALLY AFTER FINDING ONE THAT WORKED OK.
BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND AS TO THE REASON WHY THAT PARTICULAR USB STICK WORKED WHEN THE OTHERS DID NOT.
