I bought this model about a month ago and I must say I am very pleased with it! I have a high spec 15″ laptop but needed something small & light for commuting, but I didn’t want to settle for a low spec netbook. This model checked all the boxes! It’s the lightest and slimmest 13.3″ on the market, and very stylish. The pentium dual core ULV 4100 processor is very powerful and fast for 1.3Ghz, more so than I was expecting. the keys are broad & comfortable in comparrison with other 13.3″ models. And the battery life is fantastic! Delivery was very quick also. All round great buy!

Upgraded from a 10.1 netbook to get faster processor, larger screen and keyboard. There are lots of choices available from Asus, Acer, Sony etc. but I went for the T130-16W and I have no regrets all (other than maybe I should have went for the red one if it had been available).
The good
- Build quality for the price point is fantastic in my opinion.
- Large keyboard (which has a nice responsive feel when typing)
- Battery life
- For a 13.3 it’s not much bigger than a netbook
- Up and running within 5mins
The bad
- HDD shock system can be a little sensitive but I believe this can be tailored.
- Case prone to finger print smudges
- Why do I need to hunt so hard for a 13.3 notebook sleeve that’s not going to break the bank!
There are two things to keep in mind (neither pose a huge concern but worth mentioning)
a) you’ll probably need to fix the low sound with the new version of Conexant sound audio driver. The new driver fixes some issue such as audio volume too low. Easy to do and takes just a couple of minutes using the Toshiba web site.
b) I also had to flash the bios to install the laptop overheating pre warning. Again easy to well, well documented and only requires an .exe to be run.

Two major failures with delivery and the computer. Actually deserves 0/5.
I paid for next day delivery and didn’t get it. The tracking code I was given was not recognised by the courier City Link. When the computer arrived 2 days late the driver denied it was late despite the box being dated and labeled for next day delivery. He refused to give any information on how to complain to the courier. The box looked as if it had been thrown around.
This is the second time I have had this problem with a delivery via City Link and from info on the web it seems that I am not alone.
The computer failed after 30 mins use. It went back.
Amazons service was good and quick, but that does not stop me being totally disatisfied with this purchase.
I bought a replacement from a high street retailer.
