It is frustrating, has reduced my nine year old to tears, my sixteen year old using language that should not said in front of his mother, and me a tad over 21 sulking like a five year old, but we love it and even after having it for over two months one of us is always playing with it. Some times we leave it for days but its like it calls to you and you just have to give it another try to see if you can get a little further. It really is addictive but is so much fun. I gave up smoking just before we got it and it helped as it gave my hands something to do and while concentrating on this i could forget about cravings. It also provides a great source of amusement as anyone who comes to our home gives it a try and it is always fun to see grown men reduced to petulant five year olds while exclaiming there must be something wrong with it. If you want to get your kids something that does not need batteries or needs to be plugged in then this is the one for you.

The 16 of the title is as far as I got, for several days, into the 138 stages that you have to go through before you reach the end and complete the game. It is a simple thing but difficult. The one critisism is that although the stages are numbered they are quite difficult to see and you need them to show which way to go next, they would be better in a contrasting colour. Although you are expected to start at the begining each time there are two other intermediate start points which means that you can pick it up somewhere near where you left off, or you can use these start points to cheat.

It is marked not for children under 6 years due to small parts, this is now doubt true if they could get into the thing but the outer ball although quite soft is also robust and has been thrown on the floor a few times with no damage.

Great little party toy. You’ll be constantly using it for the first few days. It’s appeal wanes after that though. I haven’t picked it up in weeks. For the price though it’s a prefect christmas holidays time filler.
