I too had problems assembling the thing, with tabs that didn’t want to line up. I was straining one of the parts so much that I thought I’d break it, but it eventually clipped into place.

Once assembled, this thing is great fun. We spent most of Christmas knocking the angel off the tree, which was possible from a surprising range. Of course the most fun is in surprising people with it, though not all of them seem to take it in good humour.

Our 4 year old isn’t strong enough to pull back the elastic, but older kids love it. And therein lies the problem: One of them dropped it onto a carpeted floor, and the gun grip handle was history. The plastic of this and the top part (with the sight) is just too brittle. I’ve glued it back together but it doesn’t look too pretty. Why couldn’t they use the more flexible stuff that the main body is made out of?

A great and possibly unique toy, marred by poor quality materials and corners cut in manufacture. You won’t regret buying one as long as you take your time assembling it and try not to drop it.

Bought this for my girlfriend for christmas, what a grat laugh spent most of it shooting her unsuspecting family members or shooting the spray on snow off the window there where only 2 disapointing things about the airzooka 1) i wish i had one be so much fun playing air zooka tag and 2) the plastic isnt very durable around the handle and found the screws holding the handle on quite lose (nothin a bit of superglue wont hold) other than that its so funny shooting unsupecting people/pets (especaily my collie trying to bit air bubbles) i would recomend this toy to a tenager great fun.

Warning to parents! If you’ve bought one of these for opening on Christmas Day, I strongly suggest you open it *now* and try to assemble it in advance. Chances are, you’re going to have problems.

Mine does not assemble properly. The thing is delivered flat-pack style and you have to put it together yourself, but it’s made out of very cheap plastic that clearly warps much too easily. Slotting the parts together proved nearly impossible, as the tabs did not line up with the slots, and in fact many of the tabs themselves had not been cut out of the mould properly and had frayed plastic around the edges. The central tube is supposed to “lock” open, but mine simply does not.

In all a great disappointment – it might be cheap, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that its design is flawed!

These are so good that I bought 1, and then got 2 more.. One for me, my dad, and brother in law. We had great fun Christmas day pelting the whole family with balls of air.

The only thing I would say is like they say in the blurb it can be tough for kids to pull back the airzooka to fire it. My eight year old niece really struggled to fire it back at us :) Probably 10 onwards is a more realistic age.
