Well i was very surprised with this product i have owned a SONY LBT-XB 500 for about 10 years which in many peoples opinion was the best system they ever produced.so i was naturally wary of buying a “Mini” system at all!
When i baught this i was looking for something small but Very good quality, i had the bonus of seeing this in a local store before i bought it and it looked cracking and sounded great. for the price of this mini Hi-Fi it is a real bargin as the sound it produces is second to none from all functions radio/mp3 disc/cd/iPod. it also looks very modern and stylish which im something this price is hard to find aswell, toghter with the good sound it produces, not many systems can couple these two in the same system.
as far as funtionality goes it does pretty much all you want from a mini system and has an input for aux as well and it plays mp3 dics aswell!. one downside of fuctionality is the lack of radio station discription, all it shows is the actuall frequency, jeez even my car radio which is basic at most even shows the station description!. apart from that i cant flaw this little system at all

Very good sound, very crisp so great for listening to acoustic music! The ipod dock works fantastically!
Only possibly downside is that the equaliser can’t be altered manually, but there are different pre-set settings for rock, pop, jazz etc which are quite good.
Overall though a very good sound system, looks good too!

OK, I am not a hardcore Sony fan. I have bought quite a few ipod docks over the past years and all of them equally good – Loud!
REcently I bought Logic-3 Jivebox Ipod dock, which is a cube made of each side equal to a small notebook. Its too small and the sound it produces is praiseworthy. But the volume was not high enough for me, although BASS was sufficiently high.
I came accross the Sony Mini HIFI in a retail shop and brought it home to check it out. It cost me exactly howmuch I paid for Jivebox. I would say the sound output is splendid! Good Bass, good overall volume. Can connect to a computer/Laptop/Mp3 player with a stereo 3.5″ cable.
Only drawback is that it is huge in size, unnecassarily. There are no backlit in any of the buttons. The small LCD is sufficient enough.

this product is absoletly amazing… it has everything you could want in it and blasts out sound perfectly. And not to mention it looks astounding!!! great to buy and would reccomend to all my friends!!
Charges ipod while listening to songs (no use for a charger), plays cds and has radio…what more could you want!! the speakers are just about the right size aswell and great to listen to ipod through the 380w speakers… also the remote comes in very handy.
I would reccommend buying it of amazon because it was the cheapest i could find it and very fast delievery… i ordered it and it arrived the next day to my surprise!!
This is a product to purchase if you want excellent sound quality and attractive speakers to look at and the built in cd player comes in very handy if you dont want to plug in your ipod!!! EXCELLENT PURCHASE

The sound quality is great, easy to use, looks good and worth every penny. I have had less sound quality from more expensive units.
