After having the 1GB version where I was constantly removing and deleting items after easily filling this 4GB version is brilliant! Totally PSP compatible, recognised straight away. Moved all my items to it and now have 3GB of space I can play around with. Excellent price for 4GB should make this the standard size for any serious PSP user.

The card is fine when it works, but bad when it doesnt.
I use the card in my PSP (slim and lite) it was fine for a few weeks and then the psp couldnt carry out its game saves. The card is now corrupted, no clue as to how this has happened (used psp and memory stick how they are supposed to be ie don’t mess with the card when it is being read).
Am now trying to get refund or replacement from sandisk.
Bought a new sony branded card and it works fine.
Hope this helps, think just down to your luck really, as I have a 1gb sandisk card in sony camera and its been fine for 2 years.

Well, at least the memory stick I’ve received is Genuine. To tell as whether it is a real sandisk product, look for the serial numbers on the back of the card.
Genuine one are in white characters or numbers, they were in an extremely thin front and almost identical to those scratched onto the card with a knife. (you can actually feel the fronts engraved onto the card with your fingers).
Performanced wise, the transfer speed such as saving and loading has been great!!! It has been 3 months and the card is still going (will post a follow up comment once it stops working).

I bought this memory stick as a present for my brother when he had problems with his old SONY one he had purchased which left it unusable.
It was recognised instantly by his PSP and he has quickly and easily been able to copy all of his saved data and other media over to it – with plenty of room to spare. The product also comes with a thin plastic case for storage – which was perfect for him to store his memory stick that came with his PSP in when using this one.
WARNING: Be careful who you buy from. I purchased this product from Amazon’s preferred merchant – Indigo Starfish. Even if their price is a little higher when you consider buying a stick, it is worth the extra money for the security that they are a trusted seller and will not send you a fake. The new SONY memory stick my brother had purchased himself some time ago was from a marketplace seller with 97% positive feedback over many orders and they sent him a fake! After 6 months-ish of working fine it began corrupting all of his data. Each time he would format it (as it requested) and put new data on – only for it to corrupt again. We tried contacting the seller many times with no reply and then it seemed that the seller had stopped trading over Amazon. We also found they had since received negative feedback from other customers claiming they too had been sold fake SONY memory sticks. Considering the timeline, it was too late for us to put in a claim with Amazon and he lost over £80.
I’m not saying anything against SONY – just be careful who you buy from. One thing in SanDisk’s favour however is that purchasing this product from them cost only £13.52 when i bought it, whereas my brother’s previous SONY 8GB memory stick had cost over £80. I think two SanDisk 4GB memory sticks for under £30 is better than paying such a high price. Even if you needed 8GB of space in one card, SanDisk’s 8GB card is also a lot cheaper.
