I’m impressed with these. Though my telly isn’t swanky enough to conduct any scientific comparison, the picture quality looks just as good as with the Sony DVD-Rs I’ve used in the past. The only drawbacks were the packaging – a touch excessive and surprisingly tricky to conquer – and the shiny disc surface, which is harder to write on neatly than the Sony DVDs.

All-in-all, though, first-rate. I’ll be using them again.

It’s a Basic DVD-R which more than holds it’s own with more expensive discs I’ve used. No better though than a Tesco or Aldi equivalent. I’m not sure where the billions of CDs are actually produced but I can imagine both expensive and basic being churned out in the same Chinese factory ?

I must comment though on the ridiculous packaging overkill! I thought I had received a computer or microwave oven such was the size of the box. After wading through the boxes, packaging, plastic and bumff I arrrived at a spindle of DVD’s. Good value but surely the postage must have cost more than the product?

It’s not easy being green is it Amazon !

Got a 100 spindle so i could empty a hard drive of films, used about 30 so far with not a single glitch.

These are good quality disks, and to be honest i got them free on the amazon vine.Ive used about half of them and havent had any problems.

But having done a price check for 100 disk spindles of 100 dvds and found these are one of the highest priced on amazon, only delkin disks being higher priced, they arnt such a good option.

So yes these are good disks but paying double the price for them isnt a good choice.

I think I got the wrong end of the stick with these…having read about the minimal packaging I was expecting a spindle of disks with a sticker on the outside plastic tube; What I actually got was a large brown box (big enough for a laptop computer) filled with brown paper for padding & a smaller brown box which contained the spindle, with out a plastic tube cover but rather a removable (by breaking it) plastic seal covering a paper label.

The disks however do what they say on the ‘packaging’ we’re only 3 into the pack but so far no read or write errors – better than some brands.
