Product Description
These cables are often used to connect between TV’s, DVD’s, VCR’s, PC’s and games consoles, but have lots of other uses.
- Length: 5m
- Colour: Black.
- Connectivity: Twin Phono (RCA) male to twin (RCA) male plugs.
- Gold plated connectors for improved sound quality.
- Excellent quality
These were a really good price (cheaper than a well-known electronics store) and ideal for what I wanted. They were gold plated too, so no oxidation to cause connection problems over time. This was just to connect a DVD player component out (Stereo L/R) to a MONO input on a steam cabinet in another room, to play relaxing music while in there (cables had to go under the floor). Since this is NOT a HI-FI requirement these sort of cables are ideal. I suspect you would need to be an AUDIO expert, or have special equipment to notice the difference between these and thicker high-quality interconnects.

These cables are a little bit thinner than I would have liked, I was hoping that they would be a bit sturdier, but I guess for the price you get what you pay for.
Since I plugged these into my system I’ve noticed there’s a very slight ‘hum’. Unfortunately I think this might be because the cables aren’t shielded enough for where I’ve put them, and I’m going to have to buy some higher-quality cables and try again.

It does what it says on the tin. It’s a cable.
For what I want it for – connecting my turntable to a mixer 3+ metres away – it does the job.
It’s quite “soft” material too – so shouldn’t “brittle” like some of the other more inexpensive cables sometimes do.

Bought these leads for connecting my pioneer mixer to in house systems when djing. Does what it says on the tin. Very reasonable price.

They’re just cables but they do what they’re meant to and are as long as they should be!
